character in the David E. Kelley series Ally McBeal. A unique
take on the typical lawyer show, Calista quickly became a
Hollywood darling, and a target of the tabloids because of
her supposed eating disorder (never proven). She worked here
and there before the show, with her most significant role
being 1996's the Birdcage. Since the show's cancellation Calista
has stayed quiet, making the news for her relationship with
